The Monday Leisure Club is a wonderful community led group that provides adults with disabilities a safe space to take part in sports and leisure actives each week at the Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre.

Having previously volunteered with the group, our founder knew they were lacking an online presence and relied solely on word of mouth to advertise their work. Knowing that there wasn’t a budget available to build a website, we decided to donate one free of charge.
The aim of the project was to provide an online hub for information and enquiries for the group, making it easily accessible for users and prospective members.
The Monday Leisure Club is all about having fun, so we opted to use a bright, vibrant orange as the primary highlight colour. With accessibility being a key consideration, the fonts used were restricted to Sans-serif and were primarily written in black on a white or light grey background, ensuring the content would be clear and easy to read.

Following a successful launch, The Monday Leisure Club now has a clean, clear and concise website that acts as a hub for enquiries. Information is both quick and easy to find for both prospective members and their carers and it’s now easier for members of the public to discover this incredible asset to the local community.
