About The Plugin: Cogio WooCommerce Shipping Labels

This plugin adds a button to the WooCommerce order screen in WordPress admin. When you click it, a shipping label PDF is generated instantly and downloaded to your computer. For data protection and security purposes, The PDF is created in memory and is not saved on your website.

Before you start

  • You must have the Cogio WooCommerce Shipping Labels plugin installed and activated on your website.
  • You must be logged into WordPress as a user who can manage WooCommerce orders (Shop Manager or Administrator).
  • The order must have a shipping address saved.
  • If you want your logo to appear on the label, set a Site Icon in WordPress (this is used as the logo).

Step-by-step: Downloading a shipping label PDF in WooCommerce

  1. Log into your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Go to WooCommerceOrders.
  3. Click the order you want to create a label for.
  4. Scroll to the Shipping section (where the shipping address is shown).
  5. Under the shipping address, click Download shipping label PDF.
  6. Your browser will download a PDF file to your device (usually saved to your Downloads folder).

What the label includes

  • Ship To: followed by the customer’s name and shipping address (each part on its own line).
  • Your Site Icon: (if set) shown above the return address.
  • Return Address: pulled from your WooCommerce store address settings, shown on one line at the bottom.

Step-by-step: Set your logo using the Site Icon

If you want the shop logo to appear on the label:

  1. Go to AppearanceCustomise (or AppearanceEditor, depending on your theme).
  2. Look for Site Identity.
  3. Set the Site Icon (sometimes called “Favicon”).
  4. Click Publish (or Save).

Step-by-step: Set your return address (WooCommerce store address)

The return address comes from your WooCommerce store settings:

  1. Go to WooCommerceSettings.
  2. Open the General tab.
  3. Find the Store address section.
  4. Enter your address details and click Save changes.
The label downloads but the logo is missing

Check if a Site Icon is set in Appearance → Customise → Site Identity.

Some servers can’t convert certain image formats for embedding in PDFs. If your Site Icon is a PNG/WebP and the logo doesn’t show, try uploading a JPEG version as the Site Icon.
