This guide shows you how to create a new page in WordPress using basic features (such as text, headers and images) as well as how to edit an existing one using the WordPress block editor. Estimated time: 5–10 minutes.
You’ll need:
In WordPress, A page is a piece of static content that sits outside your regular news or blog feed. Pages are best for information that doesn’t change often, such as Home, About, Services, Contact, Privacy Policy, or FAQ. Pages can be arranged in a hierarchy (parent/child pages) and are usually linked from your main site menu.
A post is a dated entry that appears in your blog or news section, normally shown in reverse chronological order (newest first). Posts are best for content you publish regularly, such as news updates, announcements, guides/articles, case studies, or event write-ups. Posts can be organised using categories and tags, and visitors can browse them by topic or date.
